Things are a little bleak as far as theatre funding opportunities go for 2012 over at the NEA at the moment, however the 'Our Town' grant is a great one.
With the NEA 'Our Town' grant, organizations can apply for "creative placemaking projects that contribute to the livability of communities and place the arts at their core." Applying organizations have the opportunity to request grant amounts varying from $25,000 to $150,000. Applications must be validated and successfully submitted via Grants.gov (the federal government online application system) before 11:59 p.m. on March 1, 2012. Apply online here -- good luck!
