New Broadway Master Classes Announced for June 2013

The 2013 Live Design Broadway Master Classes will be held June 1-8 in New York City, offering advanced tutelage in Broadway Lighting, Projection, Scenic Design, and Sound Design, according to the following schedule:

  • June 1-3: Broadway Lighting Master Classes, Jules Fisher, creative consultant. Location: The Baryshnikov Arts Center.
  • June 4: Broadway Projection Master Classes, Zachary Borovay (Elf the Musical, Evita), creative consultant. Location: NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
  • June 5 & 6: Broadway Scenic Design Master Classes, David Gallo (Tony winner for The Drowsy Chaperone), creative consultant. Location: NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
  • June 7 & 8: Broadway Sound Master Classes, Abe Jacob, creative consultant. Location: NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

According to the announcement, online registration opens soon, but registration is available in the meantime via John Morabito, registration coordinator, who can be reached at (203) 846-0083 or via e-mail at masterclasses[at]penton.com.
