The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle honors theatre achievement in the localities of Los Angeles and Orange County theatre for each year, giving out awards in twenty separate categories. Awards include achievement for production, directing, acting (both individually and in ensembles), as well as lighting and set design, and much more.

The Ted Schmitt Award for the world premiere of an outstanding new play, accompanied by a check for $1,000 and an offer to publish from Samuel French, Inc.
The Polly Warfield Award for an excellent season in a small to mid-size theatre, accompanied by a check for $500
The Bob Z Award for career achievement in set design, accompanied by a check for $500
The Angstrom Award for career achievement in lighting design, accompanied by a check for $1,000.
The Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in theatre, accompanied by a check for $500.
The Joel Hirschhorn Award for outstanding achievement in musical theatre, accompanied by a $500 check.
The Milton Katselas Award for career or special achievement in direction, accompanied by a $1,000 check.
